What the fuck do you write about a supermodel? They’re pretty much all the same. Five foot ten, flawless, and hungry looking On a rare occasion, one managed to go back and finish collage. Others manage to get a few parts in a few movies and not totally screw them up. Others crash and burn, do montains of amazing Peruvian marching powder, spend hours searching for veins in their feet that they haven’t blown, and finally get dropped into some ‘clinic’ in Montana because all the ‘stress’ got to them. Verekova falls into the ‘probably not a total idiot category.’ But to the world, she'll just be another pretty face.
Life Story
Originally from Olomouc, Czech republic, Verekova moved to New York at the age of 19. Initially, she wanted to attend the Parsons School of Design, though she chose modeling instead and was signed by Next Model Management. She moved to Europe after it became clear that she would be more successful there. She is fluent in three languages and has degrees in Psychology and Education. She married hockey star, Petr Nedved, in July 2004, but they separated in the summer of 2006.
Vařeková has appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition a total of eight times, also becomming the face of NIVEA. Other contracts include Guess?, Chanel and Pantene. She was a cover girl for Marie Claire, Harpers & Queen and Cosmopolitan.
