Introduction
Her name really is Vanessa Angel, although she considered changing it because she was afraid people might think she was a porn star. People can be so silly.
Life Story
Born and raised London, she was just 14 when world renowned agent Eileen Ford (as in Ford Models) discovered her while shopping with her mum. She traveled the world and appeared on the cover of magazines like Vogue and Cosmopolitan before John Landis cast her as a Russian spy in Spies Like Us (1985) where she pranced around in her underwear. She moved to New York and began studying acting which gave her a leg up on other chicks that were merely super hot. Her big break came when she was cast in the Kelly LeBrock role on the television series “Weird Science”, but she is perhaps best known for her role in Kingpin (1996) in which she was so good you couldn't even tell she was Brittish. She was even the original choice to play “Xena” as in Xena: Warrior Princess, but an illness prevented her from flying to New Zealand so the role went to Lucy Lawless.
She continues to act and be hot, racking up a substantial list of credits, most recently in the HBO series Entourage where she played herself in a three episode story line with Johnny Drama. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Rick Otto and their daughter.
