Introduction
The star of Saved by the Bell, Tiffani Thiessen started her career at age 8 when her uncle and friend of Stephen Spielberg, Roger Ernst, suggested she try modeling. Soon Tiffani starred in her first commercial, a Peaches and Cream Barbie ad.
Life Story
Thiessen's big break came with being cast as Kelly Kapowski on the teen television show Saved By the Bell, playing the love interest of Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Theissen says, “I learned how to smoke from Mark-Paul Gosselaar on Saved by the Bell. He's the one who taught me, and we smoked together.” She continued the role with the short-lived Saved by the Bell: The College Years. Theissen went on to play bad girl Valerie Malone for 6 years on Beverly Hills 90210. She met actor Brian Austin Green on the set and later lived with and dated him for 3 years.
Her transition to film hasn't gone so well. She has starred in a few films, including Woody Allen's Hollywood Ending (Tea Leoni), but she has received dismal reviews. In 2005 she directed a short film called Just Pray. This was the first major release by her production company Tit 4 Tat Productions.
Thiessen dated Mario Lopez and Mark Paul Gosselaar and was once engaged to actor Richard Ruccolo. She married actor Brady Smith in 2005.
In 2006, during a Q & A, Tiffani confirmed that she was writing a children's book, “Fins and Tales” to be released in 2007.
