Teri Polos is best known for her role as Pamela Byrnes in the hilarious Meet the Parents films, her sizzling Playboy shoot, and her damn good looks.
Life Story
Polo was born in America's oldest state in 1969. Her father was a stereo designer which meant she had killer stereo systems growing up. From the ages of five to 17, Polo was a dedicated ballerina. At 17, Polo won a modelling contest for Seventeen magazine. Inspired by this victory over uglier girls, Polo decided to quit high school and move to New York City to pursue a modelling career full time. She was signed to Elite Model Agency's petite division, but her career never took off. With a modelling career out of the question, Polo decided to give acting a try.
Early in her acting days, Polo got roles in the classic motorcycle flick Born to Ride which starred John Stamos in 1991, and the ski movie Aspen Extreme in 1993. Polo did some TV work too. In 1994 she had a six episode stint on Northern Exposure and in 1999 she did five episodes of your ex-girlfriends favorite show, Felicity. In 2000, the majority got our introduction to Polo when she played Ben Stiller's girlfriend in the gutbusting Meet the Parents. Following the success of Meet the Parents, Polo got guest spots on Frasier and The Practice. Polo got her own TV show in 2003 called I'm With Her. The show was about a famous actress and a random dude who date; it lasted 22 episodes. In 2004 Polo reprised her role as Byrnes in the equally funny Meet the Fockers. To promote the movie, Polo posed nude in Playboy in February of 2005. Since Meet the Fockers, Polo has had recurring roles on The West Wing and The Wedding Bells.
In 1997, Polo married a photographer named Anthony Moore. They had a child in 2002, but divorced in 2003. She is currently dating a drummer named Jamie Wollam, and is expecting her second child soon...
