INTRODUCTION

As amazing as it sounds, Tamara Braun is a natural brunette and does not eat dairy because it does not appeal to her... and cows are evil. Her training includes stage combat, various dialects and belching (on demand but not because she just drank a glass of milk). Her main charity is the TLC - Therapeutic Living Centers for the Blind a not for profit agency providing programs and services for individuals who have multiple disabilities, including blindness. Another of Tamara's charities is Planned Parenthood (you know what that means...active).

Career

Braun is best known for her Emmy-nominated portrayal of sassy Carly Corinthos on the ABC soap opera General Hospital, but she considers herself an actress anyway. After she left General Hospital, she was replaced by Jennifer Bransford. Unfortunately, only a few months later, most likely due to Bransford's unpopularity, Bransford was let go and replaced by daytime perennial Laura Wright. In the world of soup operas, that is how the non-dairy cookie crumbles.

After a short break (not by choice) Braun got back to work as the female lead in the independent movie Little Chenier and then she appeared as pastry chef Rose on four episodes (there were more than four episodes?) of the ABC sitcom Freddie as a romantic interest of both lead male characters on the "show."

Tamara has completed one episode of the CBS hit shows Cold Case and the Ghost Whisperer. She also appeared on the season premire of Without A Trace September 27, 2007.
