Introduction
Even with a scar above her left eyebrow from a dog bite when she was young, Shiri Appleby has managed to have a decent acting career, date a musician, and date a nerdy actor who playes a doctor and directs deep films.
Life Story
Appleby graduated from Calabasas High School in 1997 and University of Southern California despite beginning her acting career at the age of four in commercials. Soon she would be on several television series as a guest star, including: thirtysomething (1987), Doogie Howser, M.D. (1989), ER (1994), Baywatch (1989), Xena: Warrior Princess (1995), 7th Heaven (1996) and Beverly Hills 90210 (1990) before landing a recurring role on Roswell. On 7th Heaven she played a gang member because there just aren't enough Jewish gangsters.
She has gone on to star in several films, television shows, and music videos, including What Love Is with Anne Heche, The Killing floor, about a literary agent(..blah...blah...blah..you lost me), I'm Reed Fish with Alexis Bledel, When do We Eat, about a Jewish Passover meal on drugs, and, of course, the highly unsuccessful Project Green Light film, The Battle of Shaker Heights with Shia La Beouf, who, undoubtedly, became famous only because of his weird name.
