Early life
She was born Alexandra "Sasha" Barrese to actress and model Katherine Barrese in Maui, Hawaii. Barrese was raised in Paris, France until the age of seven when she moved to the United States. Because Sasha's mother worked as a model while they where living in France, Sasha was able to gain a lot of modeling experience at a young age by traveling to photo shoots with her mother.
Career
Barrese and her mother had their acting debut in the 1989 movie Homer and Eddie. The following year the pair stared as the younger and older versions of a character named Jezebel in 1990's Jezebel's Kiss. In all subsequent roles Sasha is credited as Sasha Barrese in lieu of her birth name, Alexandra Barrese. Over the course of her education career Sasha attended 15 different schools. As a young girl she attended Ojai Private School in Ojai Valley, California. She later went to Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts and graduated high school in 1999. During high school she modeled for NEXT Agency, Elite, and Guess Jeans.
After graduation she went on to do more television and film work including Hellraiser: Inferno (2000), The Ring (2002), "Just Shoot Me!", MTV's "Undressed", the WB's "Run of the House", "LAX" , "CSI: Miami", and "Supernatural".
Personal life
Sasha currently lives with her mother in Beverly Hills, California. She is an avid reader, an art enthusiast, and loves the games of chess and poker. She is of Irish, Dutch, American Indian, and Russian decent and speaks fluent French. She is currently working at Ubik Productions where she holds the position of CEO
