Life Story
She was born in Ontario and raised in Vancouver, Brittish Columbia. Her mother is from Germany and Sarah can speak German and French fluently in addition to English which is her first language. She began acting when she was eight years old, appearing in local productions in Vancouver. She is a vegetarian.
Career
Her early credits include Earnest Goes to School which, if you remember, was not Earnest's best work. She would rebound and land on the hit TV show "Roseanne", replacing Alicia Goranson as the eldest sister Becky. Goransen would come back to the role and the two actresses took turns playing Becky depending on Goransen's availabilty. She also lent her voice to the short lived cartoon "Clone High" which was hilarious and never should have been cancelled.
She is best known for her role as Dr. Elliot Reid on the show "Scrubs" and can be seen in the upcoming Jon Heder mistake Mama's Boy.
