Life Story
Born in Tokyo, Japan to a Scottish father and an Italian mother, she spent time growing up in Malaysia and China before settling in the United States. She enrolled at the University of Arizona but didn’t do much research because she dropped out after learning freshman couldn’t participate in the school’s theatre productions. She moved to Los Angeles and began to pursue her acting career.
Career
She began landing roles on a variety of TV shows like Party of Five (Jennifer Love Hewitt, Lacey Chabert), Freaks and Geeks (Linda Cardellini) and Judging Amy (Amy Brenneman) before she was the conjoined twin of Nectar Rose in Not Another Teen Movie (Chyler Leigh).
Her career seems to be progressing nicely with reoccurring roles on The O.C. (Rachel Bilson, Mischa Barton) and Entourage (Mandy Moore, Monica Keena, Emmanuelle Chriqui) and a major role on Dirty Sexy Money (Michelle Krusiec, Zoe McLellan).
She has long enjoyed sewing and designing clothes and now has her own fashion label called “NARU”.
Rehab
In October of 2007 she checked herself into an outpatient rehab center for “personal reasons” i.e. blow, candy, Charlie, yeyo , white girl, snort, eight ball, cecil, double bubble, flake, blanca, merk, schmeck, zip, duct, uptown, white mosquito, flave, foo-foo dust, friskie powder, Aunt Nora, lady snow, Bolivian marching powder, coke, caine, or simply cocaine.
