Introduction

The tiny actress is as cute as she is fiesty and funny.

Life Story

The small but cute star of Josie and the Pussycats with Tara Reid, Rosario Dawson, Parker Posey, got her start working as model for Target's national newspaper ads and was seen across the world on the box cover for Milk-Bone dog biscuits at the age of ten. She would later star in a memorable anti-drug TV ad, in which she smashed an entire kitchen with a frying pan to demonstrate what drugs do to a person.

Her big acting break came in 1995, when she starred in the film adaption of The Baby-Sitter's Club. A few years later, in 1997, she had a small role in the Parker Posey film The House of Yes. After that, she appeared in several small films, and in 1999 she starred in the teen hit She's All That with Anna Paquin and Sarah Michelle Gellar. The same year, she also had a guest role on Dawson's Cree (Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams). In 2001, she played Josie in the film version of the popular cartoon Josie and the Pussycats. After her succeful run of movies, Cook decided to ease back a bit, and spent time with her family for a few years, appearing in a handful of small films.

She recently returned to the spotlight with her own production company and film roles in Nancy Drew and the upcoming Bob Funk.
