Early Life
Marsha Thomason was born to an English father (Peter Thomason aka Thomo) and a Jamaican mother and attended Oldham Sixth Form College to study for A levels in Media Studies, Theatre Studies and Performing Arts. Thomason attended the Manchester Metropolitan University to study a BA in English.
Career
Marsha Thomason first came to prominence on British television in the series Playing The Field and Where The Heart Is, as well as in the first series of the BBC Three drama Burn It. In the U.S., she also acted in Disney's The Haunted Mansion, playing Eddie Murphy's wife, played Brandy in the movie My Baby's Daddy, and played Victoria in Black Knight. She also played the character Vicki in Pure. On 2004-10-21 she was a guest on Love Line the radio show. In January 2008 she acted in Messiah V: The Rapture.
Marsha Thomason recently became a recurring character on the television show Lost as Naomi Dorrit. She first appeared in the third season episode "Catch-22," which aired on April 18, 2007, and continued to appear in all the remaining episodes of the season. (Coincidentally in the season finale, former Las Vegas co-star James Lesure also made a cameo appearance). The character was possibly killed off in the season finale on May 23, 2007, the actress stating in an interview on Digital Spy UK: "It’s been left in the air. It could go either way."
