Introduction
For such a wholesome show, the Mickey Mouse Club produced three very unwholesomely hot girls: Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and, last but not least, the incredible Keri Russell.
Life Story
A child actor growing up, Keri’s big break was with The New Mickey Mouse Club. Though her singing abilities paled in compared to some of her more naturally gifted costars, she still made an impression with her acting and dance skills. She had no problem finding work after the show ended. She appeared in Honey, I Blew Up The Baby (the most disturbing title for a kid’s film ever) and a few sitcoms.
She really hit it big with the WB show Felicity (Amy Jo Johnson, Amy Smart). Viewers instantly identified with her character, a confused college girl in a big city, and also wanted to touch her beautiful long and curly locks. Her hair was such a major part of her and the show’s appeal that rating plummeted when she cut it short. The show only lasted a few seasons, and the WB now has a policy that all their actors must have permission before they get a haircut.
Keri’s post-Felicity career has seen her move into film. She starred in The Upside of Anger (Joan Allen, Alicia Witt, Evan Rachel Wood, Erika Christensen), Mission Impossible 3 (Michelle Monaghan, Maggie Q), and Waitress. She will be seen in the thriller The Girl In The Park (Kate Bosworth) in 2008. She also had a son with her husband Shane Deary in 2007. Odds are the tyke has a great head of hair already.
