Life Story
You have TV audiences to thank for Kelly Carlson becoming a star. The former stage performer booked small roles in films such as 3000 Miles to Graceland in 2001, but became a crowd favorite on the FX show Nip/Tuck (Kate Mara) where she plays Kimber Henry. Her role, at first, was slotted to be a one-shot deal. But fans reacted so strongly to her character that she was called back a few more times during the show's first and second season, and became a series regular in the third season.
Carlson took a break from the plastic surgery show in 2004 to star in the direct-to-video Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation. Currently, she is filming Nip/Tuck's fifth season and will appear on the big screen in the comedy Made of Honor, where she will star with Patrick Dempsey and Busy Phillips.
