Introduction
Katie is the daughter of Partridge Family (Susan Dey) heartthrob David Cassidy and a fashion model mother. Essentially, she was genetically predetermined to be beautiful and in show business.
Life Story
Her mother, unlike the parents of most young starlets, required that her daughter finish high school before pursuing an acting career. Katie filled her time with competitive cheerleading (her “spirit fingers” were probably exceptional) and modeling. Though she planned on attending NYU, she decided to stay in L.A. as she got a recurring role on 7th Heaven (Jessica Biel, Haylie Duff), which, though a wholesome show, had some exceptionally hot girls in its cast.
Katie also had a major role in Black Christmas (Michelle Trachtenberg, Lacey Chabert), a slasher film about a murderer terrorizing sorority girls. She’s also currently starring in the action-horror show Supernatural (Lauren Cohan). She was also cast opposite John Travolta in the big screen adaptation of Dallas as Lucy Ewing, a role which both Jessica Simpson and Lindsay Lohan wanted. If she beat out those two beauties, there MUST be something special about her (i.e. she can actually act/doesn’t have a drug problem). She is someone who is about to get VERY famous.
