Introduction
This little sister of the supremely crazy Michael has managed to do what her brothers Jermaine and Tito never could: stay away from hair activator and have a successful solo career. Through the years she has shown her ability to weather controversy, put out successful albums and films, and at the age of 41, remain attractive to even the most discriminating cougar-hunting 18 year olds.
Life Story
Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana. She was the youngest of ten Children, but luckily the daughter of super parent Joe Jackson, who understood that the best way to raise children is to force them to perform songs together as soon as they learn to speak. When Janet was just a toddler, her brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael were already performing as the Jackson Five. When their success started to diminish, father Joe decided the answer was to “jacksonify it up,” adding the remaining children into the act, effectively making sure they’d all have large amounts of time spent in therapy when they became adults.
From there, Janet began acting in television shows such as “Good Times,” and “Diff’rent Strokes,” playing various recurring roles. By 1982 she had released her first album, which sold over 300,000 copies. But it wasn’t until the 1986 release of her album “Control,” that Jackson really hit the big time, with five of her songs landing in the top 5 at different times. In a show of defiance from her father, she fired him as her manager, and just to rub it in, decided not to participate in the “We Are The World” music video, a move that hurt her relationship with both her father, and the world, deeply.
On her own, Janet has since made over 300 million dollars in contracts and sales in the recording industry and has performed on stage with skanks Britney Spears and Beyonce. Unfortunately for Janet, she’s a Jackson and can not escape controversy. In 2004, during the halftime show of Superbowl XXXVIII, she had her top removed by fellow performer Justin Timberlake, exposing her nasty breast and weird pasty thing to the audience. The result was the death of innocence in America on a scale so great that children everywhere could no longer think for themselves, let along suck on boobs for sustanance. Thankfully, the Canadian government responded by aggressively censoring any and all things that even hint at offensiveness. This resulted in the outstanding network television programming we see today. Thank you FCC.
