Editing Articles
So you're thinking about creating an article or editing a chick, and you ask yourself, "What's cool, what's not cool to do on this site anyway?" Well my friend, you've come to the right place.
Editorial Guidelines
Like we said in our About page, we are the world's largest web-based, women-based, wiki-based database of hot chicks on the planet. Point is, this site is about chicks. So please create articles about chicks. Not just any chick, but celebrity chicks. We don't want articles about your girlfriend (unless you're Brad Pitt), and we don't want articles about your mom (unless you're Maddox Jolie-Pitt). Basically, write articles about chicks that you think other people would actually care about. And despite the obvious Your Momma joke, I still don't want to see an article about your mom (except you Maddox, in which case, please provide any inside info you have to offer). Anyway, you get the idea. Finally, before we send you off on your article creating rampage, some quick Do's and Don't's:
Do
- Be factual
- Add useful and interesting info
- Feel free to be funny
- Upload lots of pictures and videos
Don't
- Slander
- Use foul language (including cursing and nasty or sexually explicit language)
- Write a puff piece (we're talking to you, Mr/Ms Publicist)
- Try to advertise or spam about some other website
- Create pages for chicks under 18...that's just wrong
- Upload copyrighted content
Abide by these guidelines, and Chickipedia will be a happy place full of interesting articles and useful information about all the hottest chicks on this planet. If you see violating content, feel free to report it by following the Requesting Moderation instructions page. Or read on to the Editing Instructions for how to get started.
