Danish supermodel, Helena Christensen, has appeared in numerous magazines, and is among the most famous Victoria Secret models.
Life Story
She started modeling at the age of 9, so it's no wonder that she has perfected the look of supermodel. In 1986, she was crowned Miss Denmark at the age of 18 and left home to pursue modeling in Paris. Christensen you probably remember her as the woman in Chris Isak's steamy "Wicked Games" music video, where she is seen rolling around half-naked in the sand for about 3 minutes straight.
To prove that she is more than just a pretty face, Christensen helped launch the national magazine Nylon, where she serves as Creative Director. She has also created her own fashion label, Christensen & Sigersen, and is a spokesperson for Breast Cancer Awareness.
But there is a dark side to this beauty. Christensen once lived with the late Michael Hutchense, of INXS, and admitted to smoking pot. But she claims to have stayed away from the harsh drugs. "It was never a problem for me," she said. "I was brought up with a lot of discipline so I wasn’t attracted to it. But there were a lot of young, beautiful girls on the party scene, with a lot of drugs around. I’m not a saint, but drugs were never my thing."
