Life Story
Haley Bennett was born in Fort Myers, Florida on January 7, 1988. Her given last name was Keeling, but she soon said 'to hell with that'. She grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and graduated from Barbizon in Akron, Ohio. She then inexplicably moved then to Naples, Florida where she studied music and acting while attending Barron Collier High School. In 2001, Haley competed at the IMTA Convention where she met her agents. Then, in 2004, while on summer vacation in Los Angeles, Haley was discovered in a chance meeting with a record producer while viewing guitars once played by Jimi Hendrix. As we all know, those stories are a dime a dozen in Hollywood. After graduating high school in 2005, she and her mother moved to Los Angeles so that Haley could pursue her singing and acting career.
She soon signed a three-picture contract with Warner Bros., another common story. The first movie of the deal was her debut role in Music and Lyrics with hooker-picker-upper Hugh Grant and weirdo Drew Barrymore. She is also looking into recording her first album after shooting the film College. Horror fans have been disappointed with this young hottie as she has said she is not planning to do horror movies and does not even look at the scripts for them.
Haley was asked to drop 10 pounds for the role of Cora Corman in Music and Lyrics even though she was already very thin. Let that be a lesson to all of you women. You can never be too thin.
