Maria Gabriela Espino Rugero is the oldest daughter of her family. She has two brothers, Mariano and Gustavo; and two sisters, Andreina and Nelly (the youngest). Her father was a chemical engineer, her mother, Mariela Rugero de Guinand works in publicity. Since she was young she was fascinated by animals, and she wished to be a veterinarian. Later, she encourages herself to study medicine, but desisted, Then she study odontology without being satisfied, she ends up studying publicity. Originally she wasn't attracted in working on television.
