Life Story
Elisha started modeling and acting at an early age. She was a part of the “Midnight Society” on the Nickelodeon show Are You Afraid of the dark? and co-hosted Popular Mechanics for Kids show from 1996-2007.
A few months later, Elisha landed the role of Kim Bauer on the dramatic series 24. During her downtime from the show, she got small but memorable parts in the frat comedy Old School (Juliette Lewis, Ellen Pompeo, Leah Remini) and the romantic comedy Love Actually (Keira Knightley, Laura Linney, Emma Thompson). After three seasons of 24, Elisha was not included in the fourth season and appeared as a guest star in only two episodes of season five. Instead, she took on her first leading role, portraying a former teen porn star in The Girl Next Door. She disappointed many by refusing to film any nude scenes despite the racy theme of the film. Elisha followed that role with a part in the panned horror remake House of Wax (Paris Hilton) and a turn as a spoiled rock star in Weezer's "Perfect Situation" music video.
Following those roles, Elisha’s career did not continue as easily as it begun. Elisha lost out on lead roles in the major comic book pictures Spiderman (to Kirsten Dunst) and Superman Returns (to Kate Bosworth). But she continued to garner attention by repeatedly landing on the pages of men’s magazines. While she’s happy to pose for the likes of FHM and Maxim, don’t expect to see her in Playboy; Elisha holds fast to her declaration that she will never appear nude in film or magazines.
Acting isn’t her only passion; Elisha, like most self-respecting Canadians, loves Curling and Ice Hockey
