Introduction

Elisabeth Rohm was raised by a hippie mother who prided herself on being "au naturel". Gross.

Life Story

Elisabeth Rohm was born on April 28, 1973 in Düsseldorf, Germany. She is a German-American. She moved was to New York City before reaching her first birthday and later lived in Greenwich, Connecticut. So, obviously, it was a poverty-ridden upbringing. She maintains dual citizenship (U.S. and Germany) for any interested suitors who also dig duel citizenship. Her father was a German corporate attorney and her mother once wrote for the soap opera '"Guiding Light", both of which is further proof of her poor upbringing. Her parents divorced when she was 8 or 9, she can't remember. Elisabeth graduated from St. Andrews-Sewanee and attended Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, New York, where she studied writing and European history.

She is best known for playing Assistant District Attorney Serena Southerlyn on the television drama "Law & Order", a role she played from 2001 to 2005. Her first major television role was as Dorothy "Dorf" Hayes on the soap opera "One Life to Live" in 1997. She also had recurring guest appearances on "Angel" as Detective Kate Lockley, co-starring David Boreanaz, who co-starred in the movie Valentine with Denise Richards who had a threesome in the movie Wild Things with Neve Campbell. Elisabeth goes horseback riding four times a week and started riding horses at age five. She also made Maxim magazine's "Hot 100" list in 2002, but who hasn't?
