The state of Alaska is most known for such things as snow, moose, and oil, but the state’s most precious claim to its name is Divini Rae, Miss November 2003.
Life story
Growing up in a log cabin in the Alaskan wilderness, Rae was probably the last candidate to be discovered as a model. Thank God she went to college. After going to college in Oregon, she took a trip to Australia. While down under, she was "discovered" and began to model swimsuits and lingerie.
During her time in Australia she also became an actress on some of the country's biggest daytime television shows. After five years of splitting her residence between New York and Sydney, she was "discovered" yet again by Playboy and became Miss November in 2003, becoming Alaska's first Playmate.
She also started a monthly magazine down under called SWAY, which stands for Sydney Will Amaze You. She even used her Playmate status to get the legendary Hugh Hefner to do an interview for the magazine. Lately, she’s been working on a calendar that will feature her and other playmates.
