Debbie Matenopoulos is an American television personality currently hosting the E! entertainment news show, "The Daily 10".
Debbie grew up with her Greek family in Richmond, Virginia. Her love of Journalism began after working on her high school newspaper. After studying for two years at Virginia Commonwealth University and working on a radio show there, she transferred to NYU's School of Journalism and landed a job as an intern at MTV. Her intern job led to the beginning of her entertainment career, starting out as a story coordinator at MTV on the show "Unfiltered".
In 1997, after impressing Barbara Walters, she landed a cohost position on her talk show "The View". Two years later, she ended her gig on the show and began hosting shows for the TV Guide Channel.
Debbie also spent a season working on "Good Day Live". In a segment where she attempted a three story stunt fall, she was injured and rushed to the hospital.
After a successful stint hosting E!'s coverage of the Golden Globe red carpet in 2006, she was signed on as a co-host, along with Sal Masekela and Catt Sadler, of the weeknight entertainment news show, "The Daily 10". She regularly covers segments such as "Flashy or Trashy" and "Fashion Trends."
