- Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a real-time strategy game by Electronic Arts. In the original game, World War II never happened, thereby causing the Soviet Union to become a powerful juggernaut under the leadership of Joseph Stalin. The new game picks up where the original left off. The Allies have won and the world is at peace. Or so they think. They make Alexander Romanov the new premier of the Soviet Union, but he uses his connection with the Allies to buy time for the USSR to rebuild and augment its forces. The USSR finally decides to attack the United States directly.
