Birthname:
Camille Langfield
Introduction
Camille Langfield is an American actress, born in Miami Florida (likely to very attractive parents, or one extremely attractive parent who would have been so attractive as to cancel out the unattractive genes of the other, less attractive parent).
Life Story
Camille was 4 years old when she discovered acting. Getting in front of an audience once a month at Cushman School, a small (150 kids from Nursery to 6th Grade) school in Miami, Florida, the shy girl suddenly grew bold in front of an audience. It did not hurt that all the four-year-old boys found her to be "not icky, like most girls." Her music teacher recognized her talent, and not only had her star in all musical productions at the school, but sent her onto the well known feeder school for The Miami Opera Company: The Miami Coral Society. During her 2 years there, Camille won all 13 solos during intense competitions, performing in a variety of venues such as The Miami Beach Theatre of The Performing Arts with the opera ‘Turondot’, the famous yearly Vizcaya fund raiser, The University of Miami Guzman Theatre and much more. Lynn Huff, from The Miami Coral Society, wanted to fast track Camille to Opera Singer status, because not only did Camille have Perfect Pitch and Perfect Tone, she could sing 1st and 2nd Soprano as well as Alto. Unfortunately, her acting teacher was not her parent, and realized a little too late that she was not entitled to the assloads of money and trophies Camille would take home in awards.
Meanwhile, in spite of Camille’s vigorous schedule with The Miami Coral Society, Her teacher kept her equally busy directing and performing the leads during the various Cushman School plays and programs. In addition, Camille was selected for The Performing Arts program with The State of Florida’s Talented and Gifted Program, attending those additional classes after school and during the summer, keeping her status as an Honor‘s Student, winning Best All Around Student every year, and performing the duties as the Captain of the Blue Team (the school sports teams was divided in two with one School Captain per team). Rumors quickly began to spread that Camille's acting teacher was actually experimenting with cloning behind closed doors, in order to create a "Master Race of Good Students," as, according to eighth grade salutatorian Jimmy Feinstein, "There's no effing way Camille's that talented."
According to her website:
"Until going to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts for her Junior and Senior year, Camille continued to be an Honor student at the local college in Monterey while each month, in rotating performances: 1) Auditioning for a new play; 2) Rehearsing for the play she was currently in; and 3) Preparing for the upcoming role she had previously won."
You will not find this sort of information on Julia Roberts's official site, as she has reached a point in her career where few care to read about her college accolades.
Camille spent a short time possessed by the spirits of Sir John Gielgud and Katherine Hepburn, before James Lipton performed the exorcism.
Camille’s last semester at Emerson was spent between classes and interning at both Paramount Studio and Tim Robbin’s "Actor’s Gang." Graduating Cum Laude, Camille quickly won her S.A.G. card and has co-starred in such notables as the WB's Charmed and HBO's Arliss. Most recently, she's been nekked (alongside the now famous Duchovny Balls) in an episode of Californication.
Additional Quotes
On Boyfriends: "I look for someone I can admire because they strive to be the most they can in their life and career. I like someone who’s funny and smart and thinks I’m funny and smart too…a good person. For me, what someone does with their life is much more important than what they look like."
