Life Story
Bobbie was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and raised bi-coastal between New England and Los Angeles. She studied at the University of Idaho, received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Science in Counseling from California State University of Northridge is close to completion. During her three years of graduate studies, Bobbie volunteered as an advocate and counselor at the Valley Trauma Center, a rape crisis treatment facility. This experience cemented her belief, "Beauty truly comes from the strength within."
Eager to inspire other young women, Bobbie sought a platform to encourage self-esteem and confidence in the best way she knew how- a fusion of fun, fashion, and friendship. For five years, she shined as the West Coast Editor and 'Bobbeez Buzz' advice columnist for top-selling national teen magazines 'J-14' and 'Twist.' Her assorted experience included style spreads, makeovers, do-it-yourself craft ideas. Bobbie currently serves as the Style Editor for NBC's TODAY show, and her weekly column 'The Buzz' for In Touch weekly magazine has generated an immense loyal following over the past five years.
In the world of TV, Bobbie has dished with the ladies of ABC's the View and played ball with the boys of the Best Damn Sports Show Period. From FOX and CNN to VH-1 and MTV, Bobbie's versatile talent has generated requests by a wide variety of networks. She's the co-host of Fashion Police for Style, and has appeared as a guest correspondent on many E! Entertainment specials, including their annual red-carpet Emmy, Golden Globe, and Oscar coverage. Bobbie is presently working on her first book.
