Introduction

When c-list stars look back on their lives when they’re like fifty, are they happy that the didn’t really ever have to get some shitty real job, or are they sad because they never really made it? Depression seems more likely. In fact, they should name it Steve Gutenberg’s syndrome.

Example: “Wow, so all he does now is sit in his chair and watch infomercials? Didn’t he use to be famous?”

“He was never really famous. And now he has Gutenberg’s.”

“Oh.”

With that in mind, Allison Munn is probably best known for her roll in the WB sitcom What I Like About You.

Life Story

Munn landed a few small roles in Hollywood productions at the outset of her career, most notably in White Oleander alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and in Elizabethtown, directed by Cameron Crowe. Her biggest break came in 2002 when she got a co-starring role, opposite Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth on the sitcom What I Like About You. She also has a level of notoriety for a recurring role as Caroline, Fez's borderline stalker girlfriend on That '70s Show. Munn currently appears in the ABC comedy series Carpoolers. She has a dog named Buster Keaton and every day is a struggle.
