Alenka Bikar of Slovenia has retired from sprinting at the age of 34 years old.
After 50 over international meets representing her nation and a career highlight of a silver 200m medal at the European Athletics Indoor Championships, she is hanging up her spikes
She has a personal best of 11.21s (100m) and 22.76s (200m).
Alenka made a brief comeback after child-birth but her recent season best timing of 11.43s in 100m and 23.42s in 200m wasn’t good enough of a prospects to continue.
