Nickname:
Ai-chin, Ai-chan, Love

Swimming, watching horror movies, playing piano less
Ai Otsuka is a Japanese singer best known for...well, she's known for a lot of things, actually. Her song "Sakuranbo" was one of the top songs in the country in 2003 through 2004 (it hung on to the charts for two years, finally falling off at the end of 2005). Another song, "Planetarium", was the main song for the drama series Hana Yori Dango. Both the song and the drama became famous. People that don't know her works, though, simply recognize her as the crazy girl that takes pictures of herself with jam on her face.
Ai-chin's been playing piano since the age of 4, and she writes and composes all of her songs. In addition to that, she illustrates some of her album art and helps produce the albums themselves.
She has an alter-ego called "LOVE", an evil rabbit that releases singles with a more techno feel. These singles tend to do abysmally on charts. They're still cute, though.
Stuff she’s done, ie: movies, tv, albums:
LOVE PUNCH, LOVE JAM, LOVE COOK, LOVE PiECE, Ai Am BEST, Tokyo Friends, Hana Yori Dango, Tokyo Friends The Movie, Live Earth
