Introduction

Rebecca Romijn is an American actress and model known for her blonde hair, long legs, and a last name that looks like something off a doctor’s eye chart.

Life Story

Born in Berkeley, California, to a Dutch father and a second generation Dutch American mother, she began modeling while studying music at the University of California, Santa Cruz. As a model she is best known for her layouts in the Victoria Secret catalogue and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. Like any super hot model who knows how to read, her next move was acting.

She played the Bearded Lady in the now classic Norm MacDonald film Dirty Work and appeared in 8 episodes of “Just Shoot Me” before being cast as the shape shifting, Mystique in X-Men (Halle Berry, Anna Paquin). Her first starring role came in the awful Femme Fatale directed by Brian DePalma who, for some reason is still allowed to make movies despite consistently making garbage for more than ten years now.

She was also in Man About Town (Gina Gershon) and the Punisher and has become a fixture on "Ugly Betty” (America Ferrera, Vanessa Williams).

After her six year marriage with John Stamos ended in 2005, she opted not to climb the celebrity dating ladder; instead she remained in right about the same spot when she began dating Jerry O’Connell, to whom she is now married.
