Introduction
Laura Ramsey is known in most circles as the 'Hollywood female equivalent to Kurt Warner'. Our guess is she's called this due to to her rise from a Wisconsin waitress to working leading lady in less than a year. Kurt Warner went from bagging groceries to winning Super Bowls in the same time span, with his creepy wife cheering him on.
Life Story
Laura Ramsey was born in Brandon, Wisconsin on a frigid November 14, 1982. She grew up to realize every Wisconsin girl's dream: to become a waitress. Deciding to take a step up and become a waitress in Los Angeles, she was 'discovered' there and cast in the box office dud The Real Cancun. In the film, she played herself, which she admits she didn't fully grasp the character.
Laura soon played opposite Amanda Bynes in DreamWorks' She's the Man. She then co-starred in director Catherine Hardwicke's film Lords of Dogtown with the likes of Emile Hirsch, Heath Ledger, Nikki Reed, and Rebecca De Mornay, who was naked in Risky Business. Laura also starred in Venom with Agnes Bruckner, Bijou Phillips, and Method Man. Red Man does not make an appearance.
She was also a series regular on the ABC sitcom "The Days" which lasted an impressive six episodes.
