Introduction
For a child actress who grew up on the TV screen, Lacey Chabert is a well grounded person. Although she’s not necessarily a box office draw, she successfully carved out a successful career as a character actress and she’s not on heroin.
Life Story
Born and raised in Purvis, Mississippi she moved to California with her family when she was cast in the TV drama “Party of Five” alongside Neve Campbell and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Since the Party ended, Chabert has been in a number of films and television shows, most notably Not Another Teen Movie (2001) and Daddy Day Care (2003). Her career got a booster shot when she joined forces with Rachel McAdams, Lindsey Lohan and Amanda Seyfried in Mean Girls (2005). More recently she worked with Katie Cassidy, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead in Black Christmas (2006), or as it was known in Canada, “Noël noir”.
