Life Story
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, her parents divorced when she was 12 and she was raised by her mother and grandmother. She performed under the name 'Gangsta' while part of an all-female group known as EDGP (pronounced Egypt) before going solo as 'Eve of Destruction'. She breifly worked as a table dancer before recording a song for the Bullworth soundtrack.
Career
She joined the Ruff Ryders and, after being featured on other artist's tracks, released her debut album, Let There Be Eve...Ruff Ryders' First Lady which was the second album by a female rapper to debut at #1 (Foxy Brown's Chyna Doll was the first). She released Scorpion in 2001 and Eve-ovultion in 2002 then made her acting debut in the film Barbershop. She has appeared in xXx (Asia Argento) and The Cookout (Megan Good). For 3 seasons she starred in her own sitcom, "Eve". She also has her own clothing line called "Fetish"
