Introduction
Still remembered by many as one-half of a classic Doublemint Gum commercial, blonde bombshell, Brittany Daniel, has proven herself adept at playing either the mean-spirited snob or the sexy seductress. She also looks really, really good in a bikini.
Life Story
Born in Gainesville, Florida, just five minutes before her twin sister, Cynthia, Brittany began modeling at 11, appearing in magazines like Seventeen and YM. When she was 16, she won a role on the TV series Swans Crossing and moved to New York. After high school, Brittany and her sister appeared in a Doublemint gum campaign that put many an adolescent boy to sleep at night, and she played cliquish cheerleader Jessica Wakefield on Sweet Valley High (while Cynthia played her sister, the bookish Liz Wakefield).
After graduating from Sweet Valley, Brittany played temptress Eve Whitman on Dawson’s Creek (Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams), in which she tried unsuccessfully to strip Dawson of his virginity (yeah, good thinking, Dawson). In 2002, Brittany won a spot on the spinoff to That ’70s Show called That ’80s Show (Chyler Leigh), playing Sophia, a wealthy bisexual. (We’re still sending letters to Fox to get that show back on the air…or at least that character.) She went on to appear in the not-so-great comedies Joe Dirt (Jaime Pressly), White Chicks (Busy Philipps), Little Man (Kerry Washington) and Club Dread (Tanja Reichert). In 2006, Brittany did us all a favor and appeared nude in Rampage: The Hillside Strangler Murders.
Currently, you can find Brittany on the CW’s sitcom The Game (Tia Mowry, Wendy Raquel Robinson), about a group of women all married to pro football players. She’s definitely one of our top fantasy picks.
